Tip: Ensure you use an Email Signature

An easy and free way to promote yourself.  Every email you send can have a link to your web page, facebook page and your phone number or booking site.

All email services these days allow you to add a 'signature' to your email.  Just go to the 'Settings' section of your email package and search for 'signature' or look up how to add it in the Help section.

If you add your website address or facebook page ensure you create the 'link' with the URL (web address) of your pages.

Keep your signature short and simple and it'll encourage your email recipients to explore your product or service.  If they forward your email to friends, they'll also be able to have the correct details.

Customizing your email signature is also one of the most important ways to improve the deliverability of your email. If you have an email signature that clearly states your name, position, phone number, and address, your emails will be significantly less likely to end up in the spam folder of a recipient.

For your recipients who already have you saved as a contact, it’s still a good practice to have all that information in your email signature, because it makes it easy to for them to contact you, especially if they're accessing their email from a mobile device.

Farm Shop - Telling the story of the Laceys

If you're running a farm shop, and much of the produce is yours, then it's important that your customers know this, and there's evidence to back up your claims. The Lacey family in Bolter End, near High Wycombe started their farm shop a few years ago, but not all their customers were aware of where the cows lived, or the fact that their award-winning milk was bottled just yards from the shop.  So together with some talented local photographers and Print Shop we designed some simple 'Story Boards' that evidence the provenance of their milk, cream, eggs and meat and now hang in the shop.  Simple, and cost-effective marketing.

Countryside Marketing coordinates the design and launch of a new enquiry system for caravan sites.

Countryside Marketing coordinates the design and launch of a new enquiry system for caravan sites. CL Booking is a platform designed to match Caravan & Motorhome Club members looking for a small (5-van) site, known as a CL, with sites with pitches to sell. CL Booking mimics the functionality we have all started to expect from sites like AirBnB. Countryside Marketing worked with a group of 20 site owners to specify the design, and oversaw the development and launch of the platform to the general public. Initial reaction from Club members has been extremely positive and this has been reflected in a strong uptake by sites wishing to advertise their availability on the platform.
